Featured below are several photos taken around 2009. This is the original version/iteration of the “pirate duck” character. (Notice the different hat.) Found in a quarter vending machine and matched with a hat lying around from another toy play-set, he traveled with me, in my camera bag, as my subject, on my early photographic adventures when I was first learning about the technical and creative aspects of photography. To this day he continues to be a photographic subject for one of my favorite personal passion projects.
