Memorial Day 2021

Memorial Day is the time we set aside to honor those who perished while serving our country and performing their military duties.  Today I honor in remembrance, my paternal grandmother’s brother, Rodgers R. Munn, who was a U.S. Navy Aviation Radioman Petty Officer Second Class from Florida in 1944 during World War II, when his plane crashed at sea. Let us not forget all those who have died fighting for basic rights of our citizens on foreign and native soil, in the air and at sea.
